K-pop star Sandara Park (a.k.a Dara), a member of popular girl group 2NE1, is now finally leaving her agency YG Entertainment after 17 years.

According to news post in naver, Dara's contract expires today, May 14th, and decided not to renew it with her label YG Entertainment.

In a statement released by YG Entertainment, it announced to the public the last day of the exclusive contract of Sandara while expressing their sincere gratitude with special trust and affection to the artist who has been in the agency for 17 years.

YG Entertainment will always cheer and will help Dara in preparation of her new carreer path. They are sincerely thankful to the fans who until now support and loved Sandara Park as their artist.

Dara start her showbiz career in the Philippines prior to her debut as member of a girl group in South Korea.

Dubbed by her loyal fans as "Pambansang Krung-Krung", Dara joined the first season of the ABS-CBN’s reality talent competition “Star Circle Quest” in the Philippines. She debuted in K-Pop girl group 2NE1 in 2009 with Minzy, Park Bom and CL which was disbanded in 2016.
