BTS Drop English Single 'Butter' Official MV

BTS released the official music video for their latest summer anthem "Butter"! The track is charismatically cheerful as members smoothly sway down in the dance video. Unlike previous BTS MV, the members appear in black-and-white wearing slick suits before it switches to color as they dance, sing and rap, while they take a turn grooving in an elevator, dancing together in a gym and stage under exciting-like lights being “smooth like butter” and having a “superstar glow” vibe.

According to the official press released by BigHit label, BTS’ latest summer anthem “Butter” released on May 21 is a dance pop track that easily becomes listeners’ favorite earworm, with its distinctive baseline and crisp synth sounds. It is their second English song following “Dynamite”.

“Butter” puts forth BTS’ unique charm that no one else can pull off. Sometimes smooth, at times charismatic, the duality of BTS, that they claim to “owe it all to my mother,” will melt listeners' hearts. The fun and witty lyrics overflowing with positive and bright energy will instantly uplift moods of every listeners.

BTS is a 7-member K-Pop boy band composed of JungKook, Taehyung (V), Jimin, J-hope, SUGA, Jin and RM. The group is set to perform “Butter” at the Billboard Music Awards on May 23, US local time.
